Quick recap

Percy, Annabeth and Thalia go to a boarding school to pick up two half-bloods, Bianca and Nico di Angelo. The mission works, but Annabeth is captured by a manticore. Artemis and the Hunters arrive, and the goddess sets off alone after a monster that could destroy Olympus. When she vanishes too, a prophecy sends the Hunters and Percy's friends to the mountain where the Titans hold court. Percy follows on his own, and the trip runs through Washington, the junkyard of the gods and San Francisco. Along the way he meets Rachel, a mortal who can see through the Mist. The curse of the title takes a heavy toll.
