Quick recap

Kaguya reveals that Naruto and Sasuke are reincarnations of Ashura and Indra, Hagoromo's sons, and scatters Team 7 across several dimensions. Flashbacks show how she ate the fruit of the God Tree and was sealed by her sons; episodes 464 to 468 are filler about Hagoromo, Ashura and Indra. Obito sacrifices himself to save Sasuke, Kakashi briefly gains both Sharingan, Sakura lands the decisive blow and Naruto and Sasuke seal Kaguya along with Black Zetsu. Then Sasuke announces he'll kill the Kage and Naruto. Their final fight at the Valley of the End costs each of them an arm, and Sasuke gives up. Kakashi becomes the Sixth Hokage, and a pardoned Sasuke sets off on a journey of atonement.

  1. Behind the scenesKakashi's face, at last

    In ep. 469, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura try once more to see Kakashi's face, like in ep. 101 of the original series. This time it actually shows on screen, twice. Kishimoto had already revealed it at an exhibition in 2015.

    Naruto and Sasuke's last fight returns to the Valley of the End, where they fought in the Sasuke Recovery Mission. The final clash destroys the statues of Hashirama and Madara.
