Quick recap
Filler arc. Team 8, Kiba, Hinata, and Shino, gets a mission to dig up buried treasure, with a harsh condition: fail, and all three go back to the Academy. Mid-search, three impostors copy their looks and abilities and trap them. The team only beats the copies once they start fighting as a unit. In the end the whole thing was a teamwork test, and they pass. The treasure is just a bill. The block closes with a standalone episode in which Naruto mixes up one of Jiraiya's scripts with a peace treaty.
