Quick recap
Filler arc. Naruto, Neji, Lee, and Tenten travel to the Hidden Star Village to guard a fallen star that boosts chakra. Their guide is Sumaru, a boy who dreams of becoming Hoshikage. The star vanishes, and the theft relies on techniques only villagers know. The traitor is Akahoshi, the acting Hoshikage, who killed his predecessor to restart the forbidden training and kidnaps Sumaru. Guided by the spirit of Natsuhi, Sumaru's mother, Naruto destroys the star with a Rasengan and defeats Akahoshi. Standalone episodes with Kiba, Akamaru, and Shino follow.
