Quick recap

Boruto, the Hokage's son, resents his always-busy father. At the Chūnin Exams he uses a banned ninja tool to win and is disqualified in front of everyone. Right after, Momoshiki and Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki attack the stadium and take Naruto. Boruto joins Sasuke and the Kage to rescue him and, alongside his father, beats Momoshiki with a giant Rasengan. Before dying, the enemy leaves a mark on his hand: Karma. Later, on Konohamaru's Team 7, Boruto fights the Mujina bandits and Ao, an ex-ninja with cybernetic parts, and runs into the Kara organization. This stretch ends with a mission that turns up a wounded boy named Kawaki.
