Quick recap

Eustace and his schoolmate Jill Pole run from the school bullies and end up in Aslan's Country. The lion gives Jill four signs to find Rilian, King Caspian's son, missing for ten years. In Narnia, Caspian is now an old man. With Puddleglum, a gloomy Marsh-wiggle, the children cross the north, escape the giants of Harfang and go down into the Underland. There they find a knight who is only himself one hour a night, bound to a silver chair. They free him: he's Rilian, under the spell of the Lady of the Green Kirtle. She turns into a serpent and is killed. The heroes reach the surface in time to see Caspian die. In Aslan's Country, he is young again. Jill and Eustace head back to school and teach the bullies a lesson.
