Two months later, the Entity is taking over the world's nuclear arsenals. President Erika Sloane asks Ethan to hand over the key, but he decides to destroy the AI. Luther, now ill, has built the Poison Pill, a program that can trap the Entity but needs the Podkova module, locked inside the Sevastopol at the bottom of the Bering Sea. Gabriel steals the Pill, and Luther dies containing a bomb. Grace, Benji, Paris and Degas find William Donloe, who knows where the sub went down. Ethan dives to the wreck and barely survives the way back. At a bunker in South Africa, Benji is shot but keeps going. In a biplane duel, Ethan gets the Pill back, Gabriel dies, and Grace traps the Entity. The team says goodbye in Trafalgar Square.
