Quick recap

Miss Marple gets a posthumous letter from millionaire Jason Rafiel. He asks her to investigate a crime without saying which one, and leaves her a tidy sum if she succeeds. The lead is a prepaid coach tour of English houses and gardens. Along the way, Marple hears about Verity Hunt, a young woman killed years earlier, and about Rafiel's son, Michael, jailed for the crime. A fellow passenger, Elizabeth Temple, is killed by a falling boulder. Marple stays with the Bradbury-Scott sisters and finds the truth: Clotilde, who loved Verity, killed her to keep her from running off with Michael. When Clotilde tries to poison her, Marple is ready. Michael is freed.

Hidden details

  1. Behind the scenesOut of order

The BBC made Nemesis before A Caribbean Mystery, the reverse of the books. That's why Jason Rafiel's thread is confusing in airing order.
