Quick recap

Jack McEvoy writes for FairWarning, a consumer watchdog site. Two detectives show up at his door: Tina Portrero, a woman he once slept with, was found dead in her shower in a staged accident. Jack teams up with former FBI agent Rachel Walling and learns several victims had sent DNA to ancestry site GT23, which sold the samples. The trail leads to a lab tech selling women's genetic profiles to incels and to a killer who calls himself the Shrike online. The Shrike kills his accomplices and vanishes. Months later, he hides in Jack's car, and Jack flips the vehicle on purpose. Afterward, Rachel agrees to investigate crimes with him.
