Quick recap

The Department of Defense arrives in Petersburg and starts watching Daemon and Dee. Katy begins showing powers: Daemon's healing changed her. Blake, a new student, befriends her, reveals he went through the same mutation, and offers to train her, which drives Daemon crazy. Katy spots Bethany, whom everyone thought was dead, with a government agent, and the group figures Dawson may be alive. Blake turns out to be a DOD spy, and Adam, one of the Luxen, is killed. Then Will, Katy's mom's boyfriend, kidnaps her and chains her in onyx shackles: he wants Daemon to mutate him. Daemon pretends to go along with the deal. In the end, Dawson is waiting for them at home.
