Quick recap

Sophie and her friends find the starstone Cyrah hid in a comb, and Sophie uses it to teleport to Elysian. All she finds is hills and rocks. One of Vespera's illusions demands the starstone, so Sophie returns with a team including Keefe, Fitz, Marella and Maruca. Vespera drops her illusions and reveals a quarry covered in noxflares. Marella works out that the plants must burn in layered colored flames, and the fire reveals a stained-glass dome. Lady Gisela arrives with mutant trolls, who drag Sandor away, and kills Vespera with an exploding crystal. When the group fights back, all their abilities shut off. A cloaked figure announces, "My name is Elysian." The book ends there. In a bonus scene, Fintan makes Marella an offer.
