Quick recap

Unlocked opens with a world guide written as Council files, then moves into a novella that starts right after Legacy, alternating Sophie's and Keefe's chapters. Keefe wakes with new powers he can't control: he senses emotions through touch and can command people with his voice. After using it by accident, including on Sophie, he's sent to Splendor Plains. Sophie teams up with Glimmer to raid a Neverseen storehouse and recover stored memories. Keefe realizes he sensed Dex's siblings' abilities before they showed and asks Dex to keep it secret. In the end he puts Ro to sleep, runs away, leaves a letter on Sophie's pillow and disappears into the human world. Grady catches him but lets him go and gives him an Imparter.
