Quick recap

Schmidt and Jenko missed prom in 2005, one for being unpopular, the other for failing grades. Seven years later they pair up at the police academy and on bike patrol. After a botched arrest, they are sent to the Jump Street program, which puts cops undercover in high schools. The job is to find who is spreading a synthetic drug at Sagan High School. They mix up their cover identities, and each fits in where he never did. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum star.

  2. Behind the scenesNew Orleans disguised as a generic city

The crew shot in New Orleans but hid the city. Street signs were swapped for Helvetica ones and local billboards were removed, so it reads as a generic 'Metropolitan City'.

  3. ReferenceThe film follows the same continuity as the series

Phil Lord said everything in the original series happened here too, only now with different people. The tone is comedy, though, far from the TV drama.
