Quick recap

Reacher is roaming Portland when he finds a $1,030 deposit in his account: the distress signal only the eight former members of his elite Army investigation team would use. Frances Neagley tracks him down, and they learn that Calvin Franz, one of the unit, has been killed. Reacher and Neagley gather the survivors and follow the trail to New Age, a defense contractor that builds state-of-the-art missiles and pretends to destroy them while selling them to terrorists. A blackmailed employee and the weapons buyer lead the old colleagues to a plan to trick him and stop the sale.
