Quick recap

Two feature-length cases. In Evil Under the Sun, Poirot heads to a seaside hotel to rest on doctor's orders, with Hastings along. Actress Arlena Stuart, who provokes everyone, is strangled in a cove, and every guest has an alibi. Poirot finds that Patrick Redfern and his wife Christine did it together, with Christine posing as the body to fake the time of death. In Murder in Mesopotamia, Poirot and Hastings head to a dig in Iraq. Louise, wife of archaeologist Dr. Leidner, lives in fear of threatening letters and is killed in her room. The killer is Leidner himself, her first husband living under another identity.
