Quick recap

The 2018 night keeps going. Laurie, Karen and Allyson leave Michael trapped in the burning house and head for the hospital. But he escapes, and the firefighters who arrive are his first victims. Tommy Doyle, the boy from 1978, now a bitter adult, rallies Haddonfield's residents to hunt Michael down for good. Flashbacks return to 1978, showing a young Loomis and Sheriff Brackett. A wounded Laurie stays in the hospital. The town, driven by fear, loses control, and the film shows the cost.
