Courtney loves proving she's afraid of nothing and makes Eddie and his friends look like wimps. Eddie plans to scare her on a class trip to Greene Forest, but it all backfires: the rubber snake ends up with the teacher, the tarantula lands in Molly's hair, and Eddie and Hat get punished. So he asks his brother Kevin, who's shooting a movie about the Mud Monsters of local legend, for help. The plan: dress as monsters and catch Courtney in the woods at night. When the moment comes, three monsters appear in front of the girls and three more behind Eddie, one of them a late Kevin. Two weeks later, Courtney brags that she saw real Mud Monsters.
