Alex Hunter loves photography and spends Halloween with his Aunt Marta and Uncle Colin in Wolf Creek. His aunt and uncle give him two rules: stay out of the woods at night and stay away from the neighbors, the Marlings. His friend Hannah swears the Marlings are werewolves. One night Alex sneaks out and photographs two werewolves until dawn. When they shed their skins, it's his aunt and uncle, who hide the skins in the empty Marling house. On Halloween, Hannah steals the skins, and at the peak of the moon the curse on his aunt and uncle breaks. The twist: in the Marling house, Alex finds a third skin. Hannah shows up wearing it, says she always had her own, and pounces on him.
