Quick recap

Samantha Byrd, Sam for short, is tall, clumsy, and constantly teased by Judith. She meets Clarissa, the crystal woman, who grants her three wishes. First Sam wishes to be the best player on her basketball team, and her teammates start playing terribly. Every wish fixes one problem and creates another. After one, Sam wakes up to an empty town. When Sam wishes Judith would admire her, her rival copies her haircut and follows her everywhere. Her last wish is that Judith had met Clarissa instead. At the end, Sam is at the edge of the woods, turned into a bird, and flies off without noticing a thing.
