Quick recap

Heading north, Dunk and Egg stop at Lord Butterwell's wedding, where the tourney prize is a dragon's egg. Many of the guests once backed the Blackfyres, and a mysterious hedge knight, John the Fiddler, befriends Dunk. Little by little Dunk realizes the wedding hides a plot to put a Blackfyre on the throne, and that Egg is in danger if anyone recognizes him. The egg vanishes, the jousts turn into a web of intrigue, and Dunk is dragged into the heart of the plot. The conspiracy collapses when Bloodraven, the Hand of the King, arrives with an army and arrests the traitors. Dunk and Egg move on.
