Quick recap

Two years after the tourney, Dunk and Egg serve Ser Eustace Osgrey, an old knight living on memories of glory on poor land. In the middle of a drought, the stream feeding Eustace's smallfolk suddenly runs dry: his neighbor, Lady Rohanne Webber, the Red Widow, has built a dam. Dunk tries to settle things without bloodshed and learns Eustace fought for the Blackfyres in the rebellion against the Targaryens, a dangerous past for anyone traveling with Egg. The dispute ends in a duel between Dunk and Rohanne's champion, Ser Lucas Inchfield. Dunk wins, the dam is opened, Rohanne marries Eustace to make peace, and Dunk and Egg take to the road again.
