Quick recap
A year after the victory, Ender, barred from returning to Earth, agrees to govern Shakespeare, the first human colony on a former Formic world. Valentine goes with him. On the voyage, which lasts decades for those left behind, Ender clashes with Admiral Quincy Morgan and has a romance with Alessandra Toscano. On Shakespeare he wins the colonists over. Near the end of his term he sets out with a boy named Abra to scout a new colony site and finds a fertilized Hive Queen cocoon. He writes The Hive Queen, and Peter asks him to write The Hegemon. On Ganges, Randall Firth, who calls himself Achilles, accuses him of xenocide. Ender convinces him who his real parents are and leaves with Valentine and the cocoon.
