Quick recap

Tien holds Cell back with blasts that nearly kill himself, just to buy time. Vegeta leaves the Hyperbolic Time Chamber far stronger and humiliates the monster. Out of pride, he lets Cell absorb Android 18 so he can face the perfect form, and Krillin can't bring himself to destroy her. Perfect Cell defeats Vegeta and then Trunks, whose bulked-up form is strong but far too slow. Pleased, Cell announces on TV a tournament ten days away: the Cell Games, with Earth's fate at stake. Goku and Gohan train together in the chamber and master Super Saiyan, and Goku brings Dende in as the new Kami to restore the Dragon Balls.
