Quick recap

A month later, Dexter can't kill: Sergeant Doakes is right on his tail. Divers find the bagged bodies on the ocean floor, and the press names the killer the Bay Harbor Butcher. FBI agent Frank Lundy takes over the hunt, and Debra joins his team and gets involved with him. Rita grows suspicious of Dexter, who fakes an addiction and joins Narcotics Anonymous, where he meets artist Lila. Dexter learns that Harry killed himself. Doakes becomes the prime suspect, runs, and ends up locked by Dexter in a remote cabin. Lila finds the cabin and sets it on fire with Doakes inside. Then she tries to kill Cody and Astor in a fire. Dexter follows her to Paris and kills her.
