Sonic is an alien blue hedgehog who runs faster than sound. Longclaw sent him to Earth, he bonded with the Wachowski family and slowly became a hero. Ben Schwartz voices him in all three films.
Ten years after arriving on Earth, Sonic lives in a cave near Green Hills and longs for friends. When a fit of anger causes a blackout across the US, the government sends Dr. Robotnik after him. Tom Wachowski helps, and the two head to San Francisco. Sonic beats Robotnik and gains a family.
Sonic tries to be a neighborhood hero but acts without thinking. When Knuckles and Robotnik attack, he meets Tails and learns teamwork. At the end Sonic turns superpowered with the Chaos Emeralds and gains two real friends.
Celebrating the anniversary of his arrival on Earth, Sonic is called in by G.U.N. to stop Shadow. After Tom is hurt, he loses control, steals the Master Emerald and fights Shadow. By talking about losing Longclaw, he convinces his rival to switch sides.
Sonic was born in Sega's games in 1991, made by Sonic Team. In the films, the original voice is Ben Schwartz.
