Scarlett

In G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Scarlett is General Hawk's intelligence expert, armed with a laser-sighted crossbow. She keeps shooting down Ripcord, the pilot who joins the Joes alongside Duke.

Scarlett fights in Paris and in the raid on McCullen's Arctic base. After the win, she finally kisses Ripcord and admits how she feels. Rachel Nichols plays her, and the character sits out Retaliation.

In the 2021 reboot, Scarlett is an Army major and G.I. Joe agent. She reaches Tokyo as Kenta uses the Jewel of the Sun to destroy the Arashikage dojo, fights his men and is captured along with Sen, the clan's leader. The way out is a temporary alliance with Cobra's Baroness.

At the end, Scarlett tells Snake Eyes his father was a Joe and invites him onto the team. Samara Weaving plays her.

In the 1983 cartoon, Scarlett is on the team from the first miniseries. She's smart, strong-willed and tough, a counterintelligence specialist who can handle a fight. B.J. Ward voices her.

In G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, with its anime look and younger cast, Scarlett is the counterintelligence specialist, a helicopter pilot and Duke's second in command.

Like the rest of the team, she fights in a suit built by Hi-Tech against Cobra Commander's robot troops. Amy Birnbaum voices her for the first eight episodes, then Veronica Taylor takes over.

In G.I. Joe: Resolute, Scarlett has a past with both Snake Eyes and Duke. She turns up undercover as a crime scene tech, scanning the prints of Major Bludd, found dead at the Lincoln Memorial.

Duke gives her an ultimatum, and she picks him. She, Duke and Ripcord storm Cobra's Siberian base. Grey DeLisle voices her, and the Baroness too.

In G.I. Joe: Renegades, Scarlett is a second lieutenant in Army Intelligence who studied ninjutsu to prove herself in the field. She's the one who "translates" what Snake Eyes means.

Blamed along with Duke's group, she spends the season on the run. In the final episode, Revelations, Scarlett presents the evidence that clears the team and exposes Cobra Industries. Natalia Cigliuti voices her.

Scarlett debuted in Marvel's G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #1 (1982) and was the toy line's first female figure. In the comics she was born in Atlanta and has a long romance with Snake Eyes, who was disfigured saving her from a burning helicopter. In 2002, a trademark lapse meant her figure was sold as "Agent Scarlett."
