Poppy

Twenty years after the escape, Poppy throws a giant party to remember the day the Trolls got away. The fireworks give away the village, and the Chef kidnaps her friends. Poppy sets out to rescue them and takes Branch along, who only wanted out of his bunker. On the trip she helps Bridget find her nerve and watches Creek sell out her friends. When everyone turns gray, Branch is the one who brings the colors back. Poppy persuades Bergens and Trolls to get along and becomes queen.

Poppy realizes the Bergens lost Trollstice and brings Troll holidays to Bergen Town. She pushes the party so hard that Bridget asks for space. Poppy walks away, sees she talked more than she listened, and returns to apologize. The town is already decorated by the Bergens themselves.

Two years later, Poppy is queen. She gets Queen Barb's invitation, takes the Pop string and heads out with Branch and Biggie, sure that every Troll is the same. On the road she sees the tribes have old reasons to distrust Pop. Barb captures her and breaks everyone's music, but Poppy resists, smashes the guitar and sings with the Trolls. In the end she accepts that each tribe has its own voice.

In a gift swap, Poppy draws Branch's name and he draws hers. She prepares a gift she thinks is perfect. In the end she hands over an empty box, because nothing would be good enough for him.

A month after World Tour, Poppy attends Bridget and Gristle's wedding, and John Dory's arrival changes the plan. She joins Branch in the hunt for his brothers and, at an abandoned mini-golf course, learns she has a sister, Viva. They clash because Viva doesn't believe the Bergens have changed, then team up to save Floyd. Poppy sings the Perfect Family Harmony with Branch's family.

The Trolls come from the Good Luck Trolls dolls created by Thomas Dam. DreamWorks bought the property in 2013. Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake voice Poppy and Branch in all three films and the specials.
