Percy Jackson

In 2010, Percy is 16 and a Fury attacks him at the museum. Grover and Mr. Brunner, who is the centaur Chiron, take him to camp, where he learns he is Poseidon's son and can control water. Zeus accuses him of stealing the bolt. Percy sets out with Grover and Annabeth for the Underworld to get his mother back and clear his name. In the end he fights Luke across Manhattan, returns the bolt and makes peace with his father.

In the second movie, Percy is already a camper and Clarisse calls him a one-quest wonder. He gains a brother, the Cyclops Tyson. When Thalia's tree is poisoned, Percy goes after the Golden Fleece with Annabeth, Grover and Tyson. The Great Prophecy says a half-blood of the three eldest gods will save or destroy Olympus, and Chiron fears it is him. Percy crosses the Sea of Monsters and faces Luke.

In the series, Percy is 12. At the Met he gets a pen from Mr. Brunner and accidentally vaporizes the teacher, Alecto, a Fury. At camp he discovers his powers and is claimed as Poseidon's son. He picks Annabeth and Grover for the quest and crosses the country to Los Angeles, facing Medusa, Echidna and Ares along the way. Returning the bolt on Olympus, when Zeus is about to strike him, Poseidon steps in, and the two brothers agree to warn the council that Kronos is a threat.

A year later, Percy spends the school year with Tyson, a classmate his mother recognizes as a Cyclops. He dreams of Grover being captured, and camp is in danger. Annabeth wants to keep Percy from leaving because of the Great Prophecy, but he sails with her and Tyson after the Golden Fleece. On Luke's ship, he is captured. On Circe's island, he hears his weak spot is his friends. Then comes Polyphemus's island, where Grover and Clarisse are held.

Percy comes from Rick Riordan's books, starting with The Lightning Thief (2005). The Disney+ series adapts one book per season; the 2010 and 2013 movies change a lot, such as Percy's age.
