Miles Quaritch

The colonel who won't stay dead

Miles Quaritch is the RDA's head of security and the saga's villain. He dies in the first film, returns as a Na'vi copy in the second and, in the third, finds that the most dangerous thing about him might be his bond with his son. Stephen Lang plays him.

In comics and books

Stephen Lang plays Quaritch. Per Wikipedia, he had auditioned unsuccessfully for Aliens and got the part after Josh Brolin passed on a long shoot. In 2019 Lang said Cameron always meant for the character to return, even while the first film was shooting.
