Danny Ocean

The thief who builds the crew

Danny Ocean is a professional thief who plans heists with as many people as it takes. George Clooney plays him in Soderbergh's trilogy, and Frank Sinatra plays him in the 1960 film. His style is a plan, a calm face and a joke at the right time.

Ocean's Eleven

The thief on parole

Danny leaves a New Jersey prison after four years and breaks parole to find Rusty in Los Angeles. The two reach Las Vegas and convince Reuben Tishkoff to back the job. Danny recruits the crew, rehearses in a fake vault and, on the night, walks into the Bellagio to be beaten by a guard who secretly works for him. The city goes dark, the money vanishes and Danny is arrested for violating parole. Months later, Rusty and Tess pick him up at the gate.
