In the reboot, Claire and Chris live in a Raccoon City orphanage. Claire befriends Lisa Trevor and runs away. In 1998 she returns to town, warns Chris about Umbrella and ends up teaming with Leon.

In Degeneration, Claire works for the NGO TerraSave and is stuck at Harvardville Airport. She confronts researcher Downing over planning a G-virus vaccine and accompanies Leon.

In 2006, Claire is an aid worker in Penamstan investigating a drawing by a refugee child. Wilson captures her, and Leon rescues her from the lab.
