Alex

The lion who was king of New York

Alex is the Central Park Zoo's star lion, vain and a showman, who thinks he's the king of New York. Once the zoo is behind him, he has to learn what being a real lion means without ceasing to be friends with a zebra, a giraffe and a hippo. Ben Stiller gives the original voice.

Frightened of himself, he runs to the fossa's territory. Marty follows him and, when the fossas attack, Alex beats his instinct and drives them off.
