Quick recap

Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria try to return to New York by hot-air balloon for Christmas, but the lemurs mistake them for the red goblin who visits the island every year. Alex shoots it down and knocks out Santa, who loses his memory in the crash. The friends decide to deliver the presents and use the sleigh to get home. The reindeer take orders only from Santa, so the penguins use magic dust to fly. On the island, Santa regains his toy-making gift. In the end, the friends give up going home, rescue Santa and his memory returns.
