Quick recap

Mater spends the day pranking Radiator Springs: he moves Red's flowers, scares Luigi and Guido, dresses as a cone vampire for Sally. Then he teases Lightning McQueen about the Ghostlight, a Route 66 legend. Sheriff scolds him and says the light is real: a blue glow that haunts Radiator Springs, took a young couple and left only two out-of-state license plates, and hates clanking metal. Terrified, Mater starts making the exact noise the light hates and can't stop.
