Quick recap

Axel Foley is still a Detroit detective under his friend Jeffrey Friedman, and his latest chase wrecks half the city. Jeffrey retires to protect him and pushes him to reconnect with his daughter, Jane, a defense attorney in Los Angeles. Billy Rosewood, now a private investigator, warns that Jane's life is in danger and disappears. Axel returns to Beverly Hills and meets Taggart, now police chief, who defends Captain Cade Grant. The trail points to a link between a cartel and the police. It all ends at a mansion, in a firefight with the cartel's army.
