Quick recap

Lupin drops in on his writer friend, the series' own narrator, and tells him cases that never made the papers. They're short, varied stories: a riddle solved with the sun's help, an unexpected marriage, an art theft that leaves Ganimard stumped, a young woman caught in someone else's scheme. In several, Lupin acts more like a detective than a thief, sometimes helping innocent people for nothing. The tone is light, with a vain, playful Lupin enjoying his own fame. Each story wraps up its own mystery, which makes the book good for Lupin in quick doses.
