Quick recap

San Francisco, 1991. Louis tells reporter Daniel Molloy how, in 1791, he lost his wife and child and was turned by Lestat. He hates killing and drinks animal blood. In New Orleans, during a plague, Lestat turns the orphan Claudia, who will never grow up. Years later she poisons Lestat and cuts his throat. Lestat comes back, Louis sets him on fire, and the two flee to Europe. In Paris, Armand's coven blames them: Claudia and Madeleine burn in the sun, and Louis torches the theater. In 1988 he finds a weakened Lestat and turns him down. Molloy runs off with the tape, and on the Golden Gate Bridge Lestat appears in his car, revives him with his blood and keeps driving.
