Richard, Anita's ex, is in jail in a small Tennessee town, accused of a rape he says he didn't commit. The full moon is days away, and if he shifts in his cell his secret is out. Anita drops everything to help, even though they are broken up. Jean-Claude comes along, and the town has a master vampire who wants no one on his turf. Anita finds out the charge is a setup and that something bigger is hidden in the mountains. To save Richard and get out alive, she has to lean on the bond she shares with him and Jean-Claude. It has sex scenes and violence.
