Quick recap

Anita agrees to do a favor for Jason, her werewolf friend: go with him to see his dying father, posing as his girlfriend. It sounds simple, but the favor drops her into a scandal. Jason looks far too much like the son of a powerful politician, and the press and some dangerous people start mixing the two up. The mess threatens Jean-Claude's rule in St. Louis, and Anita finds that an ancient vampire queen is using the situation to gain power, with Anita as her tool. Adult romance, with sex scenes.
