Quick recap

Anita already knows plenty of dangerous things in the supernatural world, but now beings so feared that even ancient vampires won't say their name arrive in St. Louis: the Harlequin, a group that serves the Vampire Council as spies and executioners. They send signs that they are watching Jean-Claude and everyone around him, and the old rules say how that can end. Anita has to figure out what they want before they strike, while the ardeur and her bonds with Jean-Claude, Richard and the others grow stronger and harder to control. Adult romance, with sex scenes.
