Quick recap

On an isolated space station, the small crew takes in a drifting ship whose occupants are dead. It soon becomes clear something came aboard with it. The story cuts between the moment everything starts going wrong and the present, where Wascylewski, an engineering officer, is almost alone, relying on a timer, a utility kit and his wits to survive a xenomorph loose in the corridors. With no Marine weapons and no help coming, every move has to be improvised from whatever the station offers. The volume ends when the two timelines meet and the engineer makes his last attempt to escape the alien and the doomed station.
