Quick recap

Washington, D.C., 2012. On Christmas Eve, Cross is called to his own church to catch a thief raiding the donation box. With that handled, he heads home to spend the night with Bree, Nana Mama and the kids. Before they finish trimming the tree, the phone rings again: a hostage situation getting worse by the minute. Far from his family on a holiday, Cross has to save someone else's, and the danger is real enough that he may not make it home. The ending wasn't checked against a reliable source, so it stays out.
