Quick recap

2004. A town in the American Southwest is wiped out, and the message is clear: capitals around the world could be next. Behind the plan is the Wolf, the Russian mobster who slipped away in The Big Bad Wolf, now with Colonel Geoffrey Shafer, the Weasel, at his side. Cross is pulled off vacation by the FBI and chases the two across America and Europe with the clock against him. In London, Shafer hunts Cross and ends up killed by him. The Wolf finally gets a name, Anton Christyakov, and kills himself with poison.
