After We Collided

Split from Hardin, Tessa starts her internship at Vance Publishing, where she meets fellow intern Trevor. On a work trip to Seattle, she drunk-dials Hardin, who shows up at the hotel, finds Trevor shirtless and fights with her, until they spend the night together. Hardin's mother, Trish, arrives from London thinking they're still a couple, and Tessa plays along. She learns about Hardin's childhood trauma and that Carol hid her father's return from her. They get back together, but the jealousy flares up again on New Year's, and Tessa is hurt in a car accident. Vance offers her a job in Seattle. At his farewell party, the homeless man from the first scene reveals who he is: Tessa's father.
