Quick recap

Violet and Klaus get out of the caravan before the cliff and climb the Mortmain Mountains to find Sunny. In a cave full of Snow Scouts, a masked scout leads them up a chimney to the burned V.F.D. headquarters. He's Quigley Quagmire, who survived the fire that killed his parents. Meanwhile, Sunny cooks for Olaf's troupe at the peak and sends a smoke signal. The siblings decide against springing a trap on Esmé, and the white-faced women walk out on Olaf. Sunny is saved when Olaf tries to throw her off the peak. In the end, the ice cracks, Quigley drifts down one branch of the stream and the Baudelaires, together again, go down another.
