Quick recap

After a storm, the Baudelaires and Olaf wash up on an island. A girl named Friday welcomes the orphans, but the islanders, led by Ishmael, lock Olaf in a cage. Kit Snicket arrives, pregnant. In a hidden book, the siblings learn their parents once led the island and were overthrown by Ishmael. During a mutiny, Ishmael harpoons Olaf and cracks the helmet holding the deadly fungus, which infects everyone. The Baudelaires find the cure in apples from a hidden orchard. Olaf helps Kit to the beach, kisses her and dies. Kit gives birth to a girl and dies asking that she be named Beatrice. A year later, the siblings leave with her.
