Quick recap

A golden bullet engraved "007" arrives at MI6: Francisco Scaramanga, the assassin who charges a million a hit, seems to have Bond in his sights. Bond traces the bullet through Beirut, Macau and Hong Kong, where Scaramanga's lover Andrea Anders admits she sent it so Bond would kill him. Also in play is the Solex, a device that makes solar power practical. In Bangkok, Bond takes on a karate school and corkscrews a car over a river. Andrea is killed, and Scaramanga takes Bond's colleague Mary Goodnight to his island. The duel plays out in a funhouse: Bond poses as a mannequin and kills Scaramanga. He escapes with the Solex before the plant blows up.
