Quick recap

Four short stories that fill in gaps in the main series, each told by characters who barely appear in the books. Prisoners follows Fierceteeth, Starflight's half-sister, through hard life on the NightWing island. Assassin follows a mission of the young Deathbringer, the tribe's assassin. Deserter follows Six-Claws, a SandWing soldier, and the decision that gives the story its name. Runaway goes back centuries to the forbidden romance between IceWing prince Arctic and NightWing Foeslayer, who run away together and change the history of both tribes. The stories can be read in any order, and each ends with its character facing a choice. The volume closes with an excerpt from Darkstalker.
