Quick recap

Pam turns Tara into a vampire, and Tara struggles with her new life. Eric and Bill are arrested by the Authority, the vampire government, for Nan Flanagan's death, and buy their lives by promising to hunt Russell Edgington, who has escaped the concrete. Steve Newlin becomes the Authority's spokesman. Its leaders drink the blood of Lilith, the first vampire, and fall into religious zealotry. Sookie and Jason learn that a vampire named Warlow killed their parents and holds a 1702 contract that gives him a claim on Sookie. In the end, Eric kills Russell, the group storms the Authority, and Bill drinks Lilith's blood. He dissolves into a pool of blood and rises again, far more powerful. Eric screams at Sookie to run.
