Quick recap

Aelin returns to Adarlan's capital with a plan for revenge. She briefly allies with Arobynn Hamel, her old master, to save her cousin Aedion from execution. The courtesan Lysandra becomes an ally, and Rowan arrives to help. Later, Aelin and Lysandra kill Arobynn. The clock tower that was blocking magic comes down, and magic returns to the continent. Dorian breaks free of the Valg prince possessing him and kills his father. Before dying, the king reveals that Duke Perrington is Erawan, the Valg king. Chaol is paralyzed from the waist down. Manon saves Elide, and Kaltain sacrifices herself at Morath. In the end, Dorian is the new king, Aelin heads for Terrasen and Chaol leaves to seek healing on the Southern Continent.
